If you only want to know a few facts or none of the packages meet your needs I also offer an hourly rate of £20 or a daily rate of £120 (8 hours). This is mainly for:
- * One off look ups
- * Archive visits (plus basic travelling expenses on top)
- * Photographing buildings or memorials (plus basic travelling expenses on top)
- * Ordering birth, marriage and death certificates (plus £9.25 per certificate which is the price the Government charges).
- * Document transcriptions
The daily rate would give you 8 hours of research, a saving of £40 on the hourly rate.
I have access to the archives of Sheffield, Derbyshire and Pembrokeshire (others by request), all published census returns, basic birth, marriage and death records (used to order certificates), some baptism, marriage and burial records, some military records including WW1 (WW2 is not available but I can tell you how to order them), the 1939 register, trade directories, electoral registers, immigration and emigration records and pre 1950’s newspaper archives amongst others. I also have access to the parish records of Dronfield from 1560 to the late 1800's.
